As I became acquainted with The Rose, I learned and personally witnessed the many beautiful services they provide for our community. I admire the plethora of resources they selflessly give to the community such as: serving hot meals to the homeless population, providing community resources, supplying people with emergency food from the pantry, successfully sending homeless people to rehab, hiring people that are homeless, providing showers, ministry and so much more

As a social worker, working with low-income families, I have had many clients come to my office stating they didn’t have any food. Luckily for me and my clients, The Rose of Sharon Soup Kitchen was one phone call away, and they would immediately take their time and resources to help my families in need
